Fukuyama City

First stop was Fukuyama City, where I would have been teaching. It is a very small city by Japanese standards (about the size/population of Auckland) and also did not have many english speaking Japanese people there at all, also as it is not a popular holiday destination. The city itself wasn't very pretty compared to other cities in Japan, although it was interesting to experience a real Japanese like city. Fukuyama did have a nice castle and some interesting places, also nearby was a few nice beaches, mostly on little islands nearby.

Back in NZ

Once again, sorry that I have taken so long to update my blog site.
Most of you will know but some of you may not, I am actually back in NZ. Before I left I fell in love and couldnt really stand to be away from my man so made the decision to just travel a bit of Japan and come back to Raglan. Turns out that the decision I made was a lucky one as very recently the company I would have been working for has closed and is hundreds of millions of dollars in debt, with all the teachers out of a job without having been paid for the last month. PHEW!! I am glad that I left.
Anyway I will still post my photos from my trip.
